Danielle has a rather unusual profession as an experienced child restraint technician and, as part of the NZTA’s Child Restraint Programme, she trains and qualifies CRTs for organisations or as individuals.
Our project together involved creating a home for her online course for the rental vehicle industry. The course is built using my favourite combination of tools: AccessAlly, ONTRAPORT, and the Beaver Builder theme.
We used AccessAlly Pro's progress objectives to drip content out based on the user's completion of modules, and deliver a certificate of completion at the end. We added a twist in that some users are Managers, and have an extra module to complete before they can earn their certificates. We made extensive use of AccessAlly's Team feature to create a separate team for each branch within a rental vehicle company. A Team Leader can add and remove individual team members (employees of the branch), and grant access to the the special Managers' Module to select employees.
We created separate versions of the course for Danielle's Australian and New Zealand audiences, since the content was completely different for each country. We used conditional content to handle one or two minor differences in content between her rental vehicle companies.
Here's what the client said:
"Being based in New Zealand I had some reservations about working on such an important aspect of my business development with an organisation in a completely different country. However, after beginning work with Julie I realised this didn't need to be a concern. Having never used an LMS previously, this project was a big undertaking for me, but Julie was detailed and thorough with explaining all the options I had within the AccessAlly platform, as well as making sure I understood exactly how each decision I made would impact on the user's experience.
I was most impressed with Julie's knowledge of both the AccessAlly and Ontraport platforms, and how to use these together to get the most out of each. Her extensive experience with both of these meant that I could be sure that if there was a way of doing something, Julie would know how to do it. If I asked a question about the possibility of certain functionality, Julie always thoughtfully considered the options and 9 times out of 10 she would find a way. I was grateful for this expertise and knowledge many times throughout the project. Julie left no stone un-turned when trying to execute my vision for my business.
Building a new business comes with many challenges, one of which is having suppliers or partners fall short of expectations. This was not the case with Julie. She was immediately reliable, thorough, considered and always delivered to deadlines. Julie absolutely delivered to my expectations.
I am looking forward to having Julie work on ongoing projects as my business develops."
